| Good news in a way, let's hope Hull FC give KR a good bashing!!

| to be honest. I'm not suprised...in the last 24 hours we have had snow, sleet and very heavy rain around the neath area... shame really for 2 reasons.... twas hoping to catch up on some of my ol' pals from the smoke and also the game has been well pushed on the radio/media as it is also gareth thomas' first league game so the turnout could've been respectable

| It is a shame for the brave travellers who have travelled across. Maybe the club could put a free bus on for the replay, as there will be a few who have lost out on travel and hotel costs. Still we should be fresh for Monday and I hope the coaching staff are taking notes on Humberside on Friday. Two points will be very welcome.

Have to agree
Me and drive set off from sunny Hertfordshire at 2pm, all good along the way. Reached Cardiff (it was chucking it down) and after checking the net to get postcode of venue, checked the BBC website for tittle tattle and found out game off ... at 5-30pm !!! At 6pm drive got a text from QRL saying game postponed by which time we were on our way home.
We should be fuming but to be honest we were just laughing at the travails of the typical Quins RL fan - no one else would have to put up with what we do

| Fair play to that mate, I'd of hit the roof, not that would of solved much. Couldn't they of just played the game, the pitch at Haven Barrow wasn't good but got a game in.

I suspect the fact that it's a borrowed pitch used regularly by three other clubs who are all in season at the moment (Neath RFC, Neath AFC, South Wales Scorpions) might have had something to do with it. It was used for football last Saturday, RL last Sunday and union Tuesday, with the union team due at home again tomorrow.
I feel sorry for the hardy few who made a wasted journey and spent money on overnight accommodation. Freak weather can lead to a postponement in many circumstances, but had I travelled I'd be livid about using up a day's annual leave because the game was brought forward to a working day at short notice. My contact in Wrexham tells me it was Brian Noble who instigated this and Quins RL agreed to it! After the fiasco in Perpignan last year (as well as the unexpected Sky-jacking of Hull KR away for Friday night coverage) you'd think our club might take the travelling supporters into account whan agreeing to something like this. Assuming this is accurate I'm very disappointed the club didn't have the decency to tell Crusaders "sorry, you've left it too late, it's going to screw our travelling supporters to switch the date now". It probably suited our coach and players to bring it forward and have an extra day's rest before Hull KR at home, but without supporters who pay to watch it you don't have professional sport and players/coaches shouldn't be allowed to influence decisions like this at our expense.

| There was a shot of the pitch on 'Wales Today' last night and it was under water - no way the game could have been played. It would also seem that the reason we were shifted to Thursday was that with the Ospreys playing the Scarlets at Swansea tonght the authorities weren't prepared to have two games with large attendances that close to each other on the same day.

Presumably the Ospreys v Llanelli match had been scheduled since the start of the current union season in September - if this was going to cause a problem you'd think someone would have noticed it earlier than a fortnight ago!
