With Brown leaving and the general opinion being that Grix isn't a creative enough half-back to compliment Broughy and no one else really there to step up - Robbo is an option but seems settled at hooker - i was having a look to see who is out of contract for next year, see if any of these interest you .

Anyway i've come up with :

Jarrod Sammut - i rate this fella and reckon he would do well in our fast, attacking side.
Richard Whiting - decent utility player who could maybe do a job.
Matty Smith - not so sure, he's had a few good games agains tus in the past though.
Tiim Smith - Could be a good player one day !
Gareth O'Brien - i like this kid and reckon him and Brough would be ace together .
Brett Finch - would be a tremendous signing for us but cant see that happening.

Thoughts ?

Agree about Jarrod - Think he would be a great asset

Sammut - can be brilliant at times but can also be a liability. He is not an organiser and would not be the player needed to improve the Giants

Whiting - ok as a loose forward but no better than what we have already got

Matty Smith - ok but no thanks

Tim Smith - awful

O Brien - looks an ok player but i think warrington will be looking to keep

Finch - good player but at the back end of his carreer

a new half back is a must for next season.

out of your list i like sammut.

I too like sammut but I don't think his style would compliment Broughs. Matty smith is going to either saints or Wigan.

If finch stays in uk he'll stay at the pies.

Rest- no thanks-no better than what we have.
Jamie soward would be nice - but we won't be able to afford him.

If Wigan are struggling to find a half back for next year we aren't going to find it any easier!

I've said for 10 years we need an out and out 6, shame the Carney deal never came through.
