Just heard on Twitter that the club have started Salford Red Devils branding around the stadium, each stand will be decorated and the bars will be renamed after club legends ect.

Well done the Doc on this one, baby steps but will help give the place a little bit of an identity in most fans eyes.

Diablo's bar?, Hells Kitchen?, 666 snacks?, Devilish Deli the options are many.

It will be great if we got rid of them reds logos. Them logos = losers! They need to go IMO.

It was always a naff logo - it just screamed "dave tarry".

A couple of nice big devils would look great on the front of the stadium. As well as being better designed, the devil is cool. More street cred.

Dave Hadfield,in the latest issue of RLW,states that the club was quoted the princely sum of 18 thousand pounds to remove the Salford City Reds logo.

Anyone on friendly terms with those anti-fracking folk and their superglue...

I don't know why they can't put some branding on the roof of the stadium so people driving over Barton can see it.... or is that a bit too dangerous?

The old signs were still on the front of the stadium on Wednesday evening.

I'd guess it boils down too who is liable for any costs involved in the removal and replacement.

You'd think the club would be desperate to get the new branding in situ for Sunday, my guess is more that there is wrangling over costs and the SMC wouldn't want to foot (or share any of the costs).

I'm more interested in what the concourses are going to look like and if they help to make you feel more 'at home' than in the past two seasons.

Martin Vickers on twitter the other day stated that the club have got better things to spend £15k than changing the signage on the stadium, so it doesn't seem to be something they are looking at as a priority.
