Does anyone seriously think the players signed so far are going to make a significant difference for next year. Having watched Purtell several times his game is fraught with errors often leading to try's. Luke Gale is average at best and Sammut plays as an individual not as an organiser that I think we require. Lullia lucks like a good player and is a definite improvement on what we currently have.

This team of ours is so far behind the competition we surely need more !

Purtell is a winger, I hope we play him there because his hight is one of the main things going for him. That is if we have anyone who has enough about them to send some attacking kicks his way.

I think you are right Bulls4Champ and it does give me some hope for next season but I still think we are missing someone to organise things. Others have told me Gale is the man for that but I've not seen much of him to know either way.

Yeah, a significant improvement and 7th/8th still looks the best we could hope for.

From the comments I've read from Potter and Connor Murphy, it has to he assumed that Gale was signed as an organiser. Yeah, I'm not convinced either.

You only have to watch Dobson for Hull KR to see exactly the type of player we've been missing for several years. Why do we keep signing stand off type players to play scrum half? I'm starting to get a bit frustrated about this.

7-8Th might be the best we can hope for, but its still better than 9/10/11th.

indeed. we're probably not going to sign up the world beaters (unless they find a love for Bradford) but to actually have a team where 1-17 the boys want to work together would be nice. it would certainly be worth £75 of anyone's money.

You're right. As genuinely ordinary as Hull, Cas and Leeds are there's a chasm between them and us.

I don't believe that the current players aren't committed. I think that its more about lack of talent. We see the same mistakes by certain players every week. I'm sure Potter has addressed the issues time and again. Some of them are just not up to it.

As much as I've stood up for Platt over the years he just isn't a centre. Yes he's an elusive runner but he doesn't have the vision nor passing accuracy to ever make it as a centre. You could see how unimpressed Raynor was with him yesterday. He's had 2 years at it now. Time to move over. We either need another centre to go with Lulia or it will be Purtell. Although he's done ok Whitehead should move back to 2nd row IMO.
