Nope. In fact I was glad we got Leeds & Wigan first. Mainly because they were games we were highly likely to struggle in anyway, so better to use them for players to gel, rather than games we would otherwise be looking to win with a cohesive team.
That's not to say we can't beat Leeds & Wigan once we are all sorted, but better to have players learning to play with each other in harder games I feel. In the long run, I think that will be more benefit.
And I said repeatedly yesterday our main problem was the halves. Which is purely and simply down to injury (bad luck) and nothing else. Not sure we'd have beat a Wigan in that form with any side we could put out, but we certainly wouldn't have looked as bad with Briggs and/or Herbert running the show instead of Kearney having to do absolutely everything.
As gutted as I've been after the losses, I have not lost faith in this side yet.
