Webb has always been a liability in defence with his eyebrow tackle technique. However what is pleasing this year with Webb is his attacking game has improved I think and he again looks dangerous in attack. Without watching it back on sky from the ground the coming into the line looked more successful and not passing forward

Agree with that but he was so lucky when he let that ball bounce,he just gives needless penalties that today cost us 12 points and nearly 18

I expect experienced players to be a bit smarter.

I agree he concedes daft avoidable penalties at times but so did the "team" to be fair but we got our composure back and got the spoils in a well deserved win.

Just got in from the game, still can't work out how he was penalised for having fat ar5e drop on his face with the shoulder.
Webb is my fav player always has been(Ive got 5 shirts with his name on) he will be untill he leaves. His good plays will always out number his brainfarts thats what makes him the player he is. Nobody has a go a him when the odd pass is flat and we score.

Webb can only pass forward! In his defence though, the penalty he gave away in the tackle with Blyth & Westwood came about from an attempted elbow drop from Westwood. Should have been a penalty to Leeds for the elbow IMO. I wonder whether Westwood will be cited?

Webb in constantly one of our best links in attack.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, in the danger-zone Webb is our best player at picking out the play with a delight of variations of distribution, which lead to alot of our trys.

How many times will we see this season Webb on the end of the second or thid pass from the PTB, to find Watkins in space, who will either score himself or put BJB away? Get counting.

Your right. Webb has always been a bit defensive liability going for the Barrie mac technique of "they can't run without their heads" he has always been a bit niggly and sometimes gives stupid penalties. He is like a little 10 man and always had aggression in his game.

For me though he has been always good in attack but he seems like he is back to somewhere near 2007 form in attack, just seems to be running with more purpose and aggression.

Agree though everytime he came into the line passing to Watkins we looked dangerous
