Not taken ill exactly. The lady in question was hit full in the face by the ball from Gareth O'Brien's conversion of the Richie Myler try.

Happened just to my right. Ball bounced off the roof and came down at a hundred mile per hour, only to square the poor woman in the face. From what I saw there wasn't any major injury, however, in terms of shock value ...... I can't imagine!

I nearly broke my finger there, batting away a Johnny Woods convertion, in about 1987.

I reckon the whole place is a death trap, and a H&S exec's field day.

The lady concerned was taken to Warrington hospital for X-rays. Probable broken nose. No break to cheek bone or eye socket. Extensive bruising and lacerations to her face.
She is back at home resting.
Get well soon.
