I find all of your comments, logic and ideas completely baffling and boring.

The problem with Super league is identical to that of the Premiership, it has a top four that will always do well and the rest scrap about making up the numbers with nothing to play for once half the season is over.
Super league needs to return to a relegation/ promotion division at least then those in the bottom half will have meaning to games they play. Also the Champions should be the team that actually wins the league, not a team that wins three or four games and a match at Old Trafford.
I know that doesn't rectify the top four scenario but i wonder how many teams go through the motions when they realise there is nothing to play for and whilst I don't watch your team, would it be wrong to suggest that applies.
Do supporters of Super league teams who eternally finish outside the playoffs really find it a great competion to play in, a straw poll would be interestingas a guide.

| Wardley Red... can you at least think your own ideas up and not just copy what crap they have bin spouting on GMR. What you are saying would be applicable to all sporting leagues around the world there is allways going to be the top sides and the lesser sides and i include the NRL in that, the richest clubs can attract the best players and should therefore be the best teams. So what do you want to do cut the ESL to wigan saints leeds wire and hull?

| For a start Wigan are a top team & Sam Tompkins is a very special player. The positives taken from today I thought Williams & Broughton did really well with Ball in hand, especially Williams, we tried to play football & was not helped by a very poor ref today.
Negatives, we need some quality props, we need a leader on the field & a good defensive coach the same one we had in the first half at HKR, we need to learn to slow the play down when defending without giving silly penalties away!
For the remainder of the season lets Introduce one or two younger plays, give Sneyd a run at half back & drop Ratchford out what have we got to loose.

agree on that - what's the point of NOT playing some of the younger players - as long as you don't demoralise them by risking high scoring pastings like today

You perception of all things Salford are as as much away from reality as were Mr Hicks interpretation of the rules of our great game earlier today and he was absolute rubbish.
As others have previously stated it it as well that the new coach has got some matches to make sure that his theories on what the team requires are correct and that any signings or off loadings are the right ones for the long run.

| 50+ Defeats - in no particular order...
TEAM NO. 50+LOSSES LRGE AGAINST TEAM
Wigan 0 47 Catalans
Wire 0 40 Hudds
Hudds 0 46 Wigan
Catalan 0 40 Saints
Leeds 0 42 Wire
Cas 3(62,54,56) 48,48,46 Leeds/Wire/Saints
Hull 0 34,34 Hudds/HKR
HKR 0 44,46,46 Leeds/Wire/Hudds
Bradford 4(50,56,58,64) 46 HKR
Quins 5(82,52,54,56,54) 48 Catalan
Crusaders 3(56,64,56) 48 Wigan
Wakey 4(52,52,70,66) 46,48 Hudds/Wigan
Salford 6(56,52,60,52,52,52) 46,42 Leeds/Crusaders
On those stats it's pretty damning for us defensively, although we didn't concede more than 60 a go which some teams managed, the 70 and 82 scores standing out. What it shows to me is that every team, from top to bottom, has come close to conceding 50 if they have not already done so. Although disappointing, the teams in the lower half of SL have suffered multiple times and in some cases worse than us.
I shall rest now. Waiting for the inevitable tsunami of 'stato' abuse that is sure to come my way...

| It's the first one since Easter, since being promoted, We have finished 13 (14 points) 12 (16 points) and at worst 11 this season (currently 18 points) that's progress admittedly slow, that was in the main under a coach who had very little new ideas, and was finding positives from these sort of defeats, now we have a coach who is holding nothing back and is expecting us to put in 110% effort regardless of result, as fans that is all we can ask for a bit of pride and effort, we aren't a team of superstars, but if he gets his players to play to the best of their ability and a bit of siege mentality and team spirit we will start to make progress quicker
When Ratch signed for Wire, his interviews were interesting, it was "us" and thinking back to 06, we had that spirit, they wanted to work for each other
On a another note 06 is the only time in recent memory (in SL) we have had a +points difference, But this season we are getting close to the same amount of points scored as that year, we need to work on defence but it's improving, an off-season of hard work in defence I think we will push for the 8 next year
