With our awful run of injuries to our half backs, Gary Wheeler is now first choice in the 6 & 7 shirts.

Given his atrocious injury record, surely he'll limp out of next weeks game to join the injury list, won't he?
Perhaps our luck on this one thing will hold out for once?

Maybe the lack of competition for a shirt will actually suit Wheeler's psyche and he'll relax into his roles and really perform for us, probably winning a new, 8 year contract?

So come one, it may be a subject better suited to a sweepstake, but let's all have a guess. We've got the following options.

1) Injured next game, not to be seen again.
2) In one game, out the next, until the end of the season, never really getting going.
3) Only plays half the games, but looks good when he's selected.
4) Manages most of the game for the rest of the year, but fails to make an impact.
5) Plays quite well and stays fit, gets a contract with another SL club.
6) Fit all year, rips it up, outside England squad contender, new contract at Saints on a pay per play basis.
