Now many people on here scoffed when Mike Rush was appointed CEO, claiming he had no experience and was the wrong man for the job etc...

I was firmly in the camp of give the man a chance and let's see what he could do.

Since he took over we've had the big signings of Walsh, Masoe and Amor. We've had the cladding work starting and the outlay of the ever rare transfer fee for Amor.

Personally, I think there's also been a fantastic increase in communication between the club and the fans.

People are quick to lay credit at the door of McManus, but in terms of player recruitment Mike Rush and Nathan Brown are two of the major players, McManus is the chequebook behind the promises.

I know he's only been in the job a few months but the progression the club have made both off field and improving our chances on field during his tenure show that he is doing a great job.

Massive credit to Mike Rush for me, keep up the good work.

Not to forget the headaches when the catering contractor folded weve taken on a new arm of the business, all profits to the club. The events & hospitality is better than its ever been!

Early days. The easiest thing in business is the quick wins at the start. It's how the long term develops that counts.

Keep up that positive flow.

You tend to hear his name, with some players discontent? also,he backs fully Nigel Woods two leagues, with leagues splitting, saying he can't understand people, who claim it's not easy to understand and complicated.

In all fairness, the new proposed system is not complicated and not difficult to understand.

The new system is not complicated. It's a poor debating arguement. You could try to argue that there are better systems and why they are better systems. But saying it's complicated is just a lazy excuse to dislike something without thinking about it.

As for Rush as CEO, if that's a job he excels at all power to him.

It does not mean I thought we stagnated a little last year. Some of the issues still being resolved are issues that came up last year and the year before.

He was a very effective coach, but so is Brain Noble. It does not mean I have to like the style of play, just because it's effective.

Fair to say that since his appointment things seem to have improved off the field.

With what seems to be: better recruitment, more interaction with the fans, the stadium has improved aesthetically with the cladding and the hospitality has had to be taken in-house. It also seems like there will be future improvements such as a permanent screen etc.

It's a good start and I think he should take a lot of credit.
