They're not a soccer club, they're a football club who are currently in a play-off position to get in the Football League.
They're a football club who due to the EFL's ground share rule that prohibits 3 teams playing at the same ground won't be allowed into the Football League should they win promotion either directly or through the playoff's, the EFL body can award a club special dispensation and have been approached to do so but at this time haven't replied and all the parties are waiting for them to do so before it's fully signed and sealed.
What would happen if they EFL refuses the how this would affect the outcome is unknown and all we can do is wait and see until they respond.
